Remember this from last week?
With three kids and a husband, the only way I was going to survive was to have a BIG calendar. I decided to use a desk calendar! I love it and I'm able to color code each member of the family Believe it or not..this isn't too bad of a month on my calendar! Sometimes it's hard to read the numbers!
I asked Tim to build something that could go in the kitchen and still reflect the woodwork in the rest of the house. He used a mission style similar to the moldings he is making as he built the frame. Thankful for a handy husband.
He filled the middle section with this corking found at Lowes.
Tim also added black hooks at the bottom for keys! (These two pictures aren't the greatest, but it's in a tight area)!
Yay! I just attached calendar to corkboard! Of course I will be searching for better push pins in the not-so-decent future!
At least the first part of our new command center is done! I have a long way to go, but a lot of pieces have already been started! More to come...
